This sounds interesting! I think I will add it to my list of possible books for the World Citizen Challenge.

It is actually rather frightening to me that we wouldn't see such a book published about a contemporary Islamic leader. We are never going to reach peace in the middle east if we cannot see both sides of things.

Overall it was an interesting read. Some of the "battle" set ups and the like got a bit dry but the rest was an enjoyable read.

Loved this review-nice and informative. :) Have a question, though: was the book an interesting read or dry?

Anyway, it is interesting how perspectives change over the years. I mean, look at US policy during the Suez Crisis, when we sided with Nasser against England, France and Israel, compared to our current Israel policy. I think it's important for people to keep in mind that foreign policy isn't set in stone-that way we can hopefully petition our leaders for better policies!
