This Modern World points out that although Bush admitted today the government has “no evidence” linking Iraq to 9-11, that isn’t what he told Congress in March when, as required by law, he advised it we were invading Iraq. He told Congress then that the invasion was to “take the necessary actions against international terrorists and terrorist organizations, including those nations, organizations, or persons who planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. (Emphasis added).
