  • New York magazine takes a look at a “new generation of conspiracy theorists” drawn to the events of 9/11. (Via Arts & Letters Daily).
  • The Online Computer Library Center has posted its 2005 list of the 1,000 books most owned by its member libraries. (Via boingboing).
  • The shortlist for the 2006 Hugo Award for best novel is out. Two books I’ve read made the list, Charlie StrossAccelerando and Robert Charles Wilson‘s Spin. Also making the list were John Scalzi‘s Old Man’s War, George R.R. Martin‘s A Feast for Crows, and Ken MacLeod‘s Learning the World.
  • The NCAA tourney I care about starts this week. Inside College Hockey looks at each of the four regional tournaments and Chris over at Western College Hockey is also taking a look at some of the first round games.
