Don’t know why but intriguing stuff kept popping up this week. With the TBR list growing and nice weather supposedly on the weekend horizon, I plan to spend it reading outside and (except for anything pressing) leave you with a variety of linkage:
- Now this is an interesting way to enforce a court judgment. (Via Boing Boing.)
- Indirectly related by an AOL connection, the Electronic Frontier Foundation offers suggestions on how to keep your search private. (Also via Boing Boing.)
- New York magazine asks, What If 9/11 Never Happened? (Via Kottke.org Remaindered Links.)
- Who’s killed more, God or Satan? (Also via Kottke.org Remaindered Links.)
- I can see how some people might want to imitate someone famous. But to imitate a band? And why that band?
- A Regina, Canada, newspaper offers a column in praise of science fiction writing. (Via SF Signal.)
- While Google may be in the dictionary, it says it ain’t a verb.
- An interesting combination of SF and foreign films. Very few are available via Netflix, although I see at least one that is is already in my queue. (Also via SF Signal.)
