Political notes

The local daily has now done three days worth on the Governor’s use of airplanes. As I said before, while I thought some possible issues were raised by the first of the stories, I am not going to be critical of him if he is able to arrange his schedule to accommodate family matters. At the same time, there may also be legitimate questions as to who paid and when. Clean Cut Kid has some thoughts here and here, as do Proud Liberal and Theron at Thune Watch.

And while you’re at it, check out Don’t Worry About the Government and Clean Cut Kid calling out an educator who basically hauls out the old canard that if you oppose the war in Iraq you’re anti-American.
