Election Day odds and ends

It’s a sad state of affairs when families of U.S. soldiers in Iraq have to help provide armor for them.
So why is it that Springsteen and other Vote for Change tour members are attacked for voicing political opinions but there is no problem if sports figures like Mike Tice and Curt Schilling do so?
