Looks like O.A.R. will play Sioux Falls

There’s been talk recently of Augustana College bringing in another top notch concert. While there’s not been a formal announcement to my knowledge, it looks like it’s going to be O.A.R. (of a revolution).

According to the Atlantic Records tours site, O.A.R. is slated to play in Sioux Falls on April 28. The date doesn’t appear on O.A.R.’s site but fits geographically with annnounced dates at St. John’s in Collegeville, Minn., on April 29 and at UND in Grand Forks on April 30.

Augie was responsible for bringing Ben Folds to the Great Hall at the Washington Pavilion for an excellent show in April 2004. His Rockin’ the Suburbs was my choice for album of the year in 2001. Similarly, O.A.R.’s In Between Now and Then was my album of the year two years later. As a result, whoever is making the concert decisions for Augie is quickly moving up the list of people I really really like.

A wise man once told me, he said
“When music is the one thing that surrounds you,
You feel no pain.”

“Anyway,” O.A.R., In Between Now and Then
